Shanshan Tang (PhD), Postdoc research fellow, wins Trainee Research Prize from RSNA

pictures3Congratulations to Shanshan for being awarded the Trainee Research Prize at RSNA 101ST Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting in Chicago on Dec 4th, 2015. Her winning abstract is entitled “XACT: A new imaging modality based on ultrasonic detection of X-ray absorption”. The award, presented to the author of the best paper submitted for oral scientific presentation in a specific subcategory, is the highest honour for a physics trainee at the RSNA annual meeting.

RSNA 2015 celebrates RSNA’s 100 years at the forefront of the radiology acdemia and industry—bringing together about 60,000 specialty’s professionals in Chicago. The Trainee Research Prize consists of $1000 and a certificate indicating the name of the trainee and the title of the paper or poster, both of which are given to the individual trainee.
