Pratik Won the 1st Place for the Three Minute Thesis Competition

March 19, 2019 by shawn xiang

Pratik Samant, Ph.D student in TRUE lab, won the 1st Place for the Three Minute Thesis Competition at OU. He will represent OU to compete in the 3MT® competition at the annual meeting of the Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools on March 22. Go Pratik!
The competition challenges master’s and doctoral students to present their research in a compelling and engaging manner to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes, using one static presentation slide as their only prop. The students’ presentations were judged on comprehension, engagement, and communication.
