Oriol Jutglar Soler is an undergraduate student pursuing a double degree in Biomedical Engineering and Industrial Electronics and Automatic Control Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona, Spain. He gained research experience at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC), where he worked on a muscle-on-chip project and investigated the use of nanobots for drug delivery and cancer therapy. Oriol was recently awarded the Balsells Mobility Fellowship (California-Catalonia Program) and will join TRUE Lab to work on his Senior Thesis, where he will work on robotic ultrasound and electroacoustic tomography.
