Prabodh Kumar Pandey joined the Department of Radiologic Science at UCI in July 2020 after earning his Ph.D. in Physics from IIT Kanpur, India, earlier that year. In July 2024, he was promoted to Assistant Researcher, equivalent to the position of Research Assistant Professor.
Prabodh’s research focuses on developing reconstruction algorithms for radiation-induced acoustic imaging. He is an expert in finite element-based modeling of partial differential equations related to wave propagation and in developing model-based reconstruction algorithms. He leads the computational imaging group in the TUE lab.
